FF Trixie OT & FF Trixie Pro

Since its release in 1991, from “The X-Files” to “Atonement”, FF Trixie has served as the defacto typeface of mystery and intrigue. For years, it was the most convincing typewriter font available, but FontFont veteran Erik van Blokland was not satisfied. Early printing and operating systems could only handle so many points per font, so FF Trixie’s outlines weren’t as realistic as he wanted.

Orbe

A blackletter face with a unique taste of Portuguese calligraphy, Orbe manages to evoke a light and spontaneous feel despite its exotic flavor and flourished details. It’s no wonder this typeface comes from the same foundry that brought us Zanzibar and Incognito. Orbe is Rui Abreu’s first design for Fountain and, with an extensive character set, Fountain’s first OpenType release.
